LHP Julio Urias earned the win on Monday when he allowed two runs on four hits with seven strikeouts over six innings as the Dodgers took down the Braves 5-3.
Urias was rolling through the first five innings of Monday's ball game until Jorge Soler and Freddie Freeman tagged him up on back-to-back solo home runs. He finished off the inning and the Braves would only add one more run in the ball game, giving Urias his 15th win of the season. The 25-year-old southpaw has been sensational over his last seven starts, compiling a pristine 1.40 ERA and 0.88 WHIP over 38 2/3 innings. He now owns a 3.17 ERA on the year to go along with a 1.04 WHIP and 160:32 K/BB ratio over 150 2.3 innings (26 starts). He'll take on the rival Giants on the road in his next turn.
