Catcher Carson Kelly went 1-for-3 with a single and a strikeout as the Diamondbacks were shut out by the Padres 3-0 on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
The Diamondbacks didn't even pick up a hit until the eighth inning of Tuesday's loss. Kelly notched a single in the ninth inning off Mark Melancon as Arizona mounted a comeback. The 27-year-old backstop has been scuffling at the plate lately and is slashing a decent .253/.373/.428 with 10 home runs and 34 RBI across 229 at-bats this season.
