LHP Julio Urias earned the win on Saturday when he allowed one run on eight hits with eight strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings as the Dodgers beat the Giants 6-1.
Urias ran into a little trouble in the first inning, allowing three hits, including an RBI double from Buster Posey. It inflated his pitch count a bit but he was able to settle down after that and scatter just five hits over the next five innings. He punched out eight and didn't walk a batter as well. The 25-year-old southpaw now owns a 3.11 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 168:32 K/BB ratio over 156 1/3 innings (27 starts).
