Maikel Franco inks minor league deal with the Braves

Fantasy Impact:
Franco was originally rostered by the Orioles this season, where he slashed just .210/.253/.355 with 11 home runs before getting released at the deadline. Franco, with his mulit-positional versatility in both corner infield spots, will likely serve as a backup for both Austin Riley and Freddie Freeman for the remainder of the season. As such, absent an injury to a player ahead of him, this transaction has very little fantasy impact.
