Chris Stratton earned the save Tuesday against the Tigers, allowing one hit and striking out two.
Fantasy Impact:
Stratton worked around a leadoff single to retire the next three in order. He and David Bednar have each converted saves since Richard Rodriguez was traded, though it seems the Pirates prefer Bednar in the highest leverage situations.
