Astros reliever Ryne Stanek threw a scoreless 10th inning en route to earning a win against the Mariners on Tuesday evening. He threw 10 pitches (eight strikes) and did not allow any baserunners. Houston ultimately defeated Seattle by a score of 5-4 in 10 innings.
Stanek is now 2-4 with a 3.79 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and .183 OBA through 59.1 innings of work out of the bullpen this season. Meanwhile, he is 1-1 with a 1.35 ERA over his last seven games alone. Still, the right-hander isn't worth rostering in most leagues.
