RHP Mitch White took the loss on Wednesday when he allowed four runs on five hits with six strikeouts over five innings in the Dodgers' 5-4 loss to the Cardinals.
White ran into trouble early in this ball game, coughing up three runs, which included a two-run homer to Yadier Molina, in the first inning. He surrendered another run in the fourth inning, which was enough to hand him his third loss of the year. White has been relatively solid for the Dodgers this season, carrying a 3.92 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and 47:17 K/BB ratio over 43 2/3 innings (19 appearances, four starts). He'll face the D-Backs at home in his next turn, which is an intriguing streaming spot.
