Huascar Ynoa tosses five innings Thursday

by Steve Painter | Braves Correspondent | Fri, Sep 10th 1:23am EDT

Huascar Ynoa pitched five innings against the Nationals Friday, allowing three hits, two runs (both earned), and two walks while striking out seven batters. He was not a factor in the decision, a 7-6 win for the Braves. Ynoa threw 89 pitches, 60 for strikes, and carries a 3.22 ERA.

Fantasy Impact:

Ynoa is getting every look from the team in order to determine his future role with them. He's done pretty well thus far, shown good promise. He has thrown five quality starts this year out of 13 games started and he just needs to keep building off of each start. His fantasy value now is limited, mostly because manager Brian Snitker doesn't want high pitch counts from any of his pitchers.
