Minnesota Twins right-hander Michael Pineda allowed one run over five innings in a 9-2 win over the Royals on Saturday. Pineda struck out three and allowed five hits.
Fantasy Impact:
Pineda made his first start since being activated from the IL after making a relief appearance last week. The veteran picked up the win, improving his record to 6-8 with a 3.87 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 79 strikeouts in 93 innings of work.
