Chris Sale will rejoin the Red Sox and is scheduled to start this weekend against the Orioles according to Red Sox manager Alex Cora. (Chris Cotillo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Another much needed boost to the Red Sox pitching staff. Sale, who missed the entire 2020 season recovering from Tommy John surgery, had been electric in his return prior to testing positive for COVID-19. In 5 starts this season, Sale has three wins and zero losses, a 2.52 earned run average, and 30 strikeouts in 25 innings pitched. He could be the x-factor for the Red Sox if they need a dominant start in the wild card game should they make it.
