Chris Paddack (elbow) placed on 10-day IL

Padres pitcher Chris Paddack has been placed on the 10-day IL with inflammation in his right elbow. The move is retroactive to Sept. 12, meaning Paddack will be eligible to return on Sept. 22. (San Diego Padres on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Paddack threw 4.2 innings on Saturday, but he didn't leave to the injury so this must've been something that popped up on Sunday after his start. He likely wasn't in any playoff fantasy lineups, but his loss certainly puts more of a weight on the Padres bullpen. It'll be interesting to see how San Diego handles Paddack's missed scheduled starts as they attempt to keep up in the competitive NL Wild Card race.
