Cal Quantrill wins sixth game
by Matthew Terelle | Rockies Correspondent | Thu, Sep 16th 5:45am EDT
Cleveland right-hander Cal Quantrill allowed three unearned runs over 6 2/3 innings in a 12-3 win over the Twins on Wednesday. Quantrill struck out four and walked three in the win.
Fantasy Impact:
Quantrill gave up a three-run homer in the seventh but he should have been out of the inning if not for a dropped pop foul by first baseman Bobby Bradley. Quantrill now has a 6-3 record, 2.89 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 110 strikeouts over 137 innings of work. He will face the Royals next.
