Carlos Hernandez allowed seven earned runs on nine hits and four walks while striking out three across four innings during Wednesday's 12-10 loss to the Athletics.
Fantasy Impact:
After a solid stretch following the All-Star break, Hernandez (6-2) let up a career-high nine hits en route to seven runs. Entering Wednesday, the 24-year-old only allowed seven runs in his previous 30 2/3 innings. The poor outing rose Hernandez's ERA to 3.90, something he will look to lower during next week's scheduled start in Cleveland.
