Tyler Mahle (12-5) earned the win Thursday against the Pirates, tossing six shutout innings while allowing five hits and one walk. He struck out four.
Fantasy Impact:
This was an excellent start for Mahle, who limited his walks and was efficient overall. The four strikeouts is a low total for him, but the Pirates are not very strikeout prone. This season, he owns a 3.59 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with 192 strikeouts in 165.1 innings.
