Glenn Otto allows seven runs in loss

by Andersen Pickard | Padres Correspondent | Fri, Sep 17th 6:54am EDT

Rangers rookie pitcher Glenn Otto had another shaky outing on Thursday as he allowed seven runs over just 3.1 innings against the Astros. His final line included seven hits, one homer, four walks, three strikeouts, and the loss. Texas ultimately fell to Houston by a score of 12-1.

Fantasy Impact:

Otto is now 0-2 with 17 earned runs through four starts (16.1 innings). He threw five scoreless innings in his MLB debut, but things have clearly gone south since then. The right-hander was dealt from the Yankees to the Rangers at the trade deadline.
