Frank Schwindel went 2-for-5 versus the Brewers Friday. He would hit a solo shot, his 14th of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Schwindel is a former 18th round pick that took nearly six years to make the minors and was hitting 4-for-35 in his previous two stints in the majors (3-for-20 earlier this season with the Athletics). With that cautionary note, he has had a magical six weeks with the Cubs where he has been a great asset. Perhaps he will end up settling into an above-average major league starter.
