Carlos Estevez secures save against Nationals

Rockies closer Carlos Estevez threw a scoreless ninth inning against the Nationals on Friday. He allowed two hits in the effort but held the opponent without a run. The 28-year-old also struck out a batter and earned the save as Colorado ultimately defeated Washington by a score of 9-8.
Fantasy Impact:
Estevez is now 3-4 with a 4.34 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and .283 OBA through 58 outings this season. He has now amassed nine saves on 14 opportunities. The right-hander has not allowed a run over his last four games.
