Rangers starter Taylor Hearn surrendered seven runs over 3.1 innings of work against the White Sox on Friday evening. His final line included eight hits, three walks, four strikeouts, and the loss. Texas ultimately fell to Chicago by a score of 8-0.

Hearn is now 6-5 with a 4.52 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and .244 OBA through 40 games (nine starts) this season. He had allowed 16 runs over his seven starts prior to Friday's difficult outing.
