by Lucas Spence | Red Sox Correspondent | Sat, Sep 18th 9:56am EDT

Tyler O'Neill went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in an 8-2 win over the Padres on Friday night.

Fantasy Impact:

O'Neill's 27th home run of the season off of Vince Velasquez gave the Cardinals a 3-0 lead in the first inning. The 26-year-old has had an absolutely sensational season and established himself as a core part of the Cardinals lineup for years to come. Overall, he's hitting .281 with an impressive .883 OPS to go along with 72 runs scored, 27 home runs, 63 RBI, and 12 steals in just 122 games played. He's hitting .333 with a Juan Soto-esque 1.094 OPS in September.
