Walker Buehler takes the loss on Friday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Sat, Sep 18th 12:22pm EDT

RHP Walker Buehler took the loss on Friday when he allowed three runs on three hits with two walks and five strikeouts over six innings in the Dodgers' 3-1 loss to the Reds.

Fantasy Impact:

Even when Buehler doesn't necessarily pitch well, he still manages to post a quality start. That's how good he's been this season. He had some tough luck on Friday, only allowing three hits and a pair of walks over his six innings. But the Reds were able to get three runs out of that and Luis Castillo was dealing on the other side, handing Buehler his fourth loss of the year. He now owns a 2.39 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and 194:49 K/BB ratio over 192 innings (30 starts). He's slated to face the Rockies on the road in his next turn.
