Kole Calhoun goes yard in loss to the Astros

by Jon Mathisen | Sat, Sep 18th 12:43pm EDT

Outfielder Kole Calhoun went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks, and a strikeout as the Diamondbacks lost to the Astros 4-3 on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Calhoun was appearing in his first game since August 11--he missed over a month with a wrist injury--and looked no worse for the wear. He opened up the scoring in the ball game with a solo blast off Cristian Javier in the sixth inning. It was his only hit of the ball game but he'd reach twice more with walks in the contest. This has been a lost season due to injury for Calhoun, he's slashing just .241/.303/.376 with four home runs, 11 RBI, and one stolen base over 133 at-bats.
