Logan Webb handles the Braves on Friday

by Jon Mathisen | Giants Correspondent | Sat, Sep 18th 12:55pm EDT

RHP Logan Webb dominated the Braves on Friday, allowing two runs on six hits with nine strikeouts over seven innings as the Giants won 6-5.

Fantasy Impact:

Webb ran into trouble in the first inning, surrendering a two-run double to Adam Duvall but that would be it for the rest of his outing. He limited the Braves to just three hits over the next six innings. It was a back-and-forth contest, so he wasn't able to secure the win but it was still a rock-solid outing. He now owns an impressive 2.79 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 141:44 K/BB ratio over 132 1/3 innings (24 appearances, 23 starts). He'll take on the Padres on the road in his next turn.
