Detroit Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal allowed two runs over three innings in a 4-3 win over the Rays on Saturday. Skubal struck out two in the start.

Skubal gave up a two-run homer to Jordan Luplow in the start. The young hurler will continue to make abbreviated starts for the remainder of the season as the Tigers look to limit his innings pitched. He has an 8-12 record, 4.25 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 162 strikeouts over 142 innings in 2021.
