Rockies starter Kyle Freeland helped to throw a combined shutout against the Nationals on Saturday. His final line included seven hits, one walk, seven strikeouts, and the win. Colorado ultimately defeated Washington by a score of 6-0.
Fantasy Impact:
Freeland improved to 6-8 with a 4.50 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and .283 OBA through 21 starts this season. Heading into the weekend, he had not racked up a scoreless outing since when he did it during consecutive games in early July.
