RHP Humberto Castellanos took a no-decision on Saturday when he allowed three runs on eight hits with three strikeouts and one walk over five innings as the D-Backs beat the Astros 6-4.
This wasn't a very flashy start but Castellanos got the job done and kept the D-Backs in the contest. He served up a two-run homer to Yordan Alvarez in the first inning but held the Astros scoreless over the next four innings. He came back out for the sixth but was yanked without recording an out. The 23-year-old hurler now owns a 4.11 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 24:12 K/BB ratio over 35 innings (12 appearances, five starts). He'll get the Dodgers at home in his next turn.
