Will Smith pitched the ninth inning against the Giants Sunday, striking out two batters en route to sealing a shutout and his 33rd save of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Braves Nation, as well as his fantasy managers, were all holding their collective breath with this outing, coming off his blown save last night. It was a gutsy call by manager Brian Snitker, but when you consider that he has very few other options it doesn't seem as risky. For Smith, it was an ignitable boost of confidence, shutting down the Giants in a pivotal game.
