Will Smith goes yard in win over the Reds

Catcher Will Smith went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk, and two strikeouts as the Dodgers defeated the Reds 8-5 on Sunday.

Smith opened up the scoring with a solo home run off Wade Miley in the second inning. It was his only hit of the ball game--he did reach base again with a walk--and his 25th bomb of the year. The 26-year-old backstop is now hitting .270 with a .901 OPS, 25 home runs, 72 RBI, and three stolen bases over 382 at-bats.
