Zac Gallen serves up four runs in no-decision

by Jon Mathisen | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Mon, Sep 20th 12:58pm EDT

RHP Zac Gallen took a no-decision on Sunday when he allowed four runs on five hits with one walk and seven strikeouts over six innings as the D-Backs lost to the Astros 7-6.

Fantasy Impact:

Most of the damage against Gallen came in the first inning when he allowed a three-run homer to Carlos Correa. Kyle Tucker would add an RBI double in the fourth inning but Gallen held the Astros in check other than that. He punched out seven and only walked one. The 26-year-old now owns a 4.53 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 125:45 K/BB ratio over 109 1/3 innings (21 starts). He'll take on the Dodgers at home in his final start of the year.
