Daniel Lynch allowed four earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out five across six innings during Tuesday's 4-1 loss in Cleveland.
Lynch (4-6) filled the bases with the first three batters faced, which ended up being quickly cleared with a triple off the glove of Andrew Benintendi. A solo shot in the second accounted for the last run Lynch would allow, as the left-hander only allowed three base runners the rest of the way. No lingering effect of the calf tightness experienced in Lynch's previous start was notable Tuesday. The 24-year-old will get another start against Cleveland next week at home.
