Luke Weaver goes 6 2/3 innings, takes the loss

RHP Luke Weaver took the loss on Tuesday when he allowed five runs (three earned) on seven hits with seven strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings in the D-Backs' 6-1 loss to the Braves.
Fantasy Impact:
Weaver was victimized by the long ball on Tuesday, serving up three to the Braves. Austin Riley's two-run shot in the first inning was unearned due to a fielding error but Ozzie Albies' and Jorge Soler's home runs counted against Weaver. He didn't walk a batter and struck out seven but Arizona couldn't get together enough offense to prevent him from taking the loss. He now owns a 4.38 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 56:16 K/BB ratio over 61 2/3 innings (12 starts). He'll take on the Dodgers at home in his next start.
