Paul Goldschmidt (two homers) powers Cardinals to 12th straight win

by Lucas Spence | Cardinals Correspondent | Thu, Sep 23rd 7:15pm EDT

Paul Goldschmidt went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in the Cardinals 8-5 comeback win over the Brewers on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Goldschmidt's clutch, two-run home run in the seventh inning tied the game and helped the Cardinals erase a 5-0 deficit. He then added another solo home run in the ninth inning for good measure. Goldschmidt is now up to 29 home runs and 93 RBI on the season to go along with a terrific .291 AVG and .870 OPS. He's had an absolutely sensational second half of the season and has been an integral part of the Cardinals surge towards the playoffs. He's likely been powering fantasy managers towards championships as well.
