Charlie Morton goes six in no-decision Thursday

by Steve Painter | Braves Correspondent | Thu, Sep 23rd 10:05pm EDT

Charlie Morton pitched six innings against the Diamondbacks Thursday, allowing five hits, three runs (all earned), and two walks while striking out eight batters. The start was a no-decision for him, but he did earn a quality start. Morton threw 96 pitches, 65 for strikes, and carries a 3.53 ERA.

Fantasy Impact:

Morton has been the Braves ace this year and will return next year. He's been a steady hand in a rotation that has seen some changes this year and it's hard to imagine a pennant race happening without him this year.
