RHP Blake Treinen earned the save on Thursday when he worked a scoreless 10th inning, walking one batter while preserving a 7-5 Dodgers lead.
Kenley Jansen worked a scoreless ninth inning, which sent this game to extra-innings, and opened the door for Treinen to pick up the save. He allowed one base runner with a walk but was able to get the hot-hitting C.J. Cron to ground into a game-ending double play. The big right-hander now owns a stellar 1.95 ERA to go along with six saves this season.
