RHP Logan Webb took a no-decision on Thursday when he allowed four runs on four hits with two walks and three strikeouts over four innings in the Giants' 7-6 loss to the Padres.
Webb struggled with his efficiency in this one, firing off 78 pitches--44 strikes--just to get through four innings. The inflated pitch count was mainly due to a rough first inning in which he surrendered all four of his earned runs. He's still been on an incredible run since late July, picking up a quality start in 10-of-12 games. Overall, he owns a 3.04 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 144:34 K/BB ratio over 136 1/3 innings (25 games, 24 starts). He'll take on the D-Backs at home in his next start.
