Nathan Eovaldi went 2.2 innings allowed seven hits, seven earned runs, two walks, and did not record a strikeout on Friday against the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
This outing was not the Eovaldi we have seen over the last few months. He got absolutely lit up. This is a tough blow for Boston as this was a very big game for them as they duke it out with the Yanks for a clinch of the wild card spot. I wouldn't look too much into this with Eovaldi, as he has been so good this year, and will likely bounce back in his next start.
