RHP Tony Gonsolin earned the win on Friday when he allowed two runs on three hits with seven strikeouts over five innings in the Dodgers' 4-2 win over the D-Backs.
Gonsolin was sharp on Friday, striking out seven and walking no one over his five innings. Kole Calhoun bopped a solo homer in the second inning and Josh VanMeter singled in a run in the fifth but that was the only damage against him. The 27-year-old owns a 3.00 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 60:32 K/BB ratio over 51 innings (14 appearances, 12 starts). He'll take on the Padres in his final start of the regular season.
