Jorge Soler plates four Saturday

by Steve Painter | Giants Correspondent | Sun, Sep 26th 12:15am EDT

Jorge Soler went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer, an RBI double, a single, and an additional run scored against the Padres Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Soler's three-run homer tied the game in the 6th, and his RBI double gave the Braves the lead in the 10th. Every game is crucial for the Braves as they try to take their 4th NL East title in a row. Soler has been instrumental in the team's second-half resurgence. Manager Brian Snitker trusts him enough to have him bat leadoff down the stretch. His YTD stat line is mediocre at best, but entering today, since July 31st, when he joined the Braves, he was slashing .257/.343/.492 with a .356 wOBA and 10 doubles, 11 homers, 29 runs scored, and 25 RBI.
