Nick Pivetta went 5.2 innings, allowed three hits, one earned run, and struck out seven in Saturday’s no-decision against the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Pivetta looked really sharp in this outing, unfortunately for him he got virtually no run support. He had a decent 2021, in typical Pivetta fashion, there were times that he looked elite, and other times where he got absolutely shelled. He is best viewed as a solid streamer in good matchups, depending on where he pitches in 2022, his value will be adjusted accordingly.
