Giovanny Gallegos pitched around a pair of walks to fire a scoreless inning on Sunday to secure his 14th save in a 4-2 win over the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
The Cardinals have amazingly won 16 straight games, which has afforded their closer all sorts of save opportunities in the month of September. Gallegos (3.10 ERA) has now saved 11 games this month and proved to be a very helpful addition to fantasy teams in the process.
