Belt exited Sunday’s game early after getting hit in the hand while attempting a bunt. H underwent X-rays on Monday, which revealed a fractured thumb. The Giants’ first baseman will continue to meet with doctors to develop a recovery plan and timetable for a return. Fantasy managers can move on from Belt in the final week of the season as he's expected to miss an extended amount of time. Tommy La Stella should see an uptick in playing time while Belt is sidelined.
