Adam Wainwright notched yet another quality start on Tuesday, holding the Brewers to seven hits, two runs, and two walks while striking out four across six innings in a 6-2 win over Milwaukee.
Fantasy Impact:
The Cardinals won their franchise-record 17th consecutive game, clinching a spot in the postseason as well, as Wainwright himself picked up his 17th win of the season. A two-run homer by Luis Urias was the only damage on the night against the 40-year-old, who owns an extremely impressive 3.05 ERA and 1.06 WHIP on the season. St. Louis will likely opt to rest him until the National League Wild Card game early next week.
