Chad Pinder went 1-for-4 with one RBI, one run and two strikeouts in the Athletics 4-2 loss on Tuesday against the Mariners.

Pinder took advantage of Tom Murphy dropping what would have been the third strike, connecting on a solo home run to dead center on the very next pitch off Mariners starter Tyler Anderson. He opened up the game's scoring with this solo home run to open the fourth inning.
