Logan Gilbert delivers strong outing Wednesday

Logan Gilbert took the no-decision on Wednesday against Oakland, allowing one run on three hits over 5.2 innings with four strikeouts and two walks.
Fantasy Impact:
Gilbert opened the game strong, allowing just two hits over five shutout innings. His first mistake came to open the sixth inning, leaving a fastball up the middle which Tony Kemp took advantage of to give Oakland the 1-0 lead. He departed with two outs in the sixth inning, but kept the Mariners in the game which is all you can ask for from the rookie pitching in a huge spot.
