Tyler O'Neill continued to close out the regular season in scorching fashion on Friday night, going 3-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs, a double, three runs scored, and a stolen base in a 4-3 win over the Cubs.
O'Neill hit solo home runs in the first and fourth innings before scoring another run in the sixth inning on a Lars Nootbaar single. He then threw out Willson Contreras at the plate from left field in the ninth inning who was attempting to score the go-ahead run. The sensational 26-year-old outfielder is now up to 34 hime runs, 79 RBI, and 15 stolen bases in just 136 games played this season. He has been one of the biggest breakout stars of the 2021 fantasy baseball season.
