Andre Ethier records third career five-hit game

On a night when the Dodgers scored 11 runs on 21 hits, Andre Ethier accounted for five of the hits and three of the runs as he batted 5-for-5 with a home run and three RBI. Through 97 plate appearances this season, Ethier is slashing .329 / .423 / .598 with 5 home runs, 13 RBI, and 17 runs.
Fantasy Impact:
Ethier is not owned in a vast majority of fantasy leagues, but he probably should be. The one-time star is having by far his best season at the age of 33, and news broke today that Yasiel Puig must essentially restart his rehab after aggravating his strained hamstring over the weekend. Ethier will regress some, but the career .285 / .359 / .463 hitter has battled back from a disappointing 2014 and numerous trade rumors and should be an above-average contributor in four fantasy categories as long as he's hitting in the middle of this potent Dodgers lineup.
