Outfielder Austin Slater went 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit homer as the Giants lost to the Padres 3-2 on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Slater stepped in as a pinch-hitter in the sixth inning and swatted the first pitch he saw from Ross Detwiler over the wall in left-center field. It was his only plate appearance of the ball game. The 28-year-old outfielder is slashing .241/.320/.423 with 12 home runs, 32 RBI, and 15 stolen bases over 274 at-bats.
