Giovanny Gallegos (fingernail) unable to pitch in ninth for Cardinals

According to Cardinals manager Mike Schildt, Giovanny Gallegos was not available to pitch in the ninth inning for the Cardinals after splitting a fingernail pitching the eighth inning out of the bullpen. (Jeff Jones on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It was an unfortunate development for Gallegos, who had been a steadying force out of the bullpen. On the 2021 season, Gallegos registered 95 K in 80.1 innings pitched to go along with 14 saves, 24 holds, an 0.88 WHIP, and held opposing hitters to a .183 AVG.
