There is great concern for Lance McCullers in the short term, and he’s most likely out for the ALCS against Boston, according to Jon Heyman. (Jon Heyman on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
McCullers underwent an MRI after he was removed from Tuesday's start early against the White Sox in the ALDS and initial word was that he would be fine in the long run, but Heyman is now reporting that there is great concern for his status in the short term which includes the upcoming ALCS series against the Red Sox. This is a pretty major blow to the Astros starting rotation against Boston. It is not clear if he would be able to return for the World Series should Houston make it.
