Angel Pagan ties game in the eighth

by Michael Valverde | Thu, May 14th 9:57pm EDT

Angel Pagan comes through when needed. Prior to his at-bat in the eighth inning Pagan was 0-2 with one walk. That said, the Giants were down 3-2, with one out, and Joe Panik took a 0-2, 4-seem fastball down the left field line for a triple. Then Pagan delivered the tying run with a single to right field that glanced off of Joey Votto's glove.

Fantasy Impact:

Angel Pagan when healthy is always going to be a very solid hitter. He is hitting .336 on the season now, with 10 runs and three stolen bases. Hunter Pence will be coming up soon, so this may help Pagan move up in the order, where he will be more comfortable. He clearly is not a four-hole hitter as he doesn't deliver much power.
