In a strong seven inning effort, the Phillies ace Cole Hamels managed to sit-down nine Pittsburgh Pirates while only surrendering two earned runs. This marks the second straight strong outing for Hamels as he looks to put a rough April behind him.
Fantasy Impact:
Any shred of doubt left in fantasy owners mind's should be erased as Cole Hamels looks to be back to form. His next start will be against the Colorado Rockies in Colorado which could pose an issue, but any ideas about buying Hamels low or bailing should be put to rest.
